This was the highlight of our trip in riviera maya. Gabo, the owner, is of Mayan heritage and truly a scholar. It’s a bit of a DIY operation but that’s what makes it so impressive along with the hospitality and the company. The cenote was awesome. He and his partner Alex took us not only swimming in the cenote, but for a little walk through the cave. We could’ve chatted for hours. His history lessons, cultural insights, and stories were as riveting and thoughtful as any collegiate course if not more. You feel the pulse of the history. The experience is educational, evocative and very special.

We happened to go right during the remodeling, we couldn't get into the cenote but a very friendly worker gave us a tour of the place and explained the modifications that would be made, inviting us to return, a magical place with a mysterious vibe, I hope to return soon

Came across this Cenote by mistake but very glad we did. The owner of the land showed us around and couldn’t have been more informative. The place was completely empty when we were there, every other Cenote we have been to was very busy. Can’t recommend this place enough 👍
