2 months agoOcean Weddings not only delivered everything I hoped for they truly exceeded every expectation!! There is so much I could say starting with Giovanna my wedding planner (provided by the venue) who went above and beyond in every possible way. I have a very busy schedule and was not always available to chat yet she was kind and understanding even meeting with me after her shift ended just to go over wedding details ❤️ Before hiring Ocean Weddings I had looked into several other providers so I had a good sense of base prices for catering, flowers and other services. I was surprised by how Giovanna was able to secure SIGNIFICANTLY better deals with higher quality vendors. In the end I saved a VERY good amount of money by going with the package she offered us instead of booking each vendor separately at full price and since they were all vendors Ocean Weddings knows and trusts I knew I could relax and trust them too. For example one thing I was absolutely sure about was wanting a BUFFET filled with delicious food. There is nothing worse than bad food at a wedding in my opinion and it’s especially hard to create a good delicious buffet. I was SO thrilled to hear that one of the most talked about aspects of our wedding afterward was how incredible the food was!! Seriously we are still getting compliments about it three months later. The location itself is absolutely breathtaking. We had guests travel from all over the world to celebrate with us from New York to Japan Colombia Mexico and beyond. Everyone was in awe of the venue and kept saying our wedding felt “like a movie” and mentioned that it was the most beautiful wedding they had been to all because the location made it so dream-like!! The beauty of the sea as the backdrop for the most important day of our lives felt unreal ❤️ I’ll never forget it. While the wedding day itself was a dream the planning process was just as wonderful. I felt stress-free thanks entirely to Giovanna. I was very much a type B bride and loved how she took initiative of everything but there were also moments when my type A side came out and I needed to control all the small details. Even then Gio adapted perfectly and worked with me seamlessly! We even had a small crisis on the wedding day when two extra guests showed up after having RSVP’d NO. The staff handled it perfectly and found a great solution without any issues though! I did not find out until after everything was over which I greatly appreciated because it meant I did not experience a single moment of stress on my wedding day. I am so grateful that I trusted Ocean Weddings to create our perfect day. I truly believe there is no more beautiful venue in all of Cancun and close by places (I would know since I grew up there!!) I wish I could post a few pics! Thanks to their incredible staff my wedding day was completely stress-free and the only thing I had to focus on was enjoying every moment. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
