 Atala Espinosa

I am a licensed lawyer dedicated to immigration procedures. 18 years ago I decided to leave Mexico City, looking to settle in a place that would welcome me and my family and allow me to develop personally. In the Mayan Riviera I found the perfect opportunity to practice my profession helping foreign individuals and families who, like me, fell in love with this land and want to make it a temporary or permanent home.

I am deeply grateful to have come to this land where my 3 children were born. I have also been blessed with the opportunity to help people from all around the world to obtain their Residency in Mexico, giving them legal certainty regarding their stay in the country and contributing to their peace of mind. My performance as an immigration lawyer is backed by the satisfaction of my clients, many of whom have become dear friends.

Temporary & Permanent Residency

We support you with legal advice, accurate and timely information so that you can apply for temporary or permanent residency with ease. According to Mexican Migration Law, most procedures to obtain a residence, whether temporary or permanent, must be initiated at a Mexican Consulate abroad.

The most common procedures to obtain residence through a consular interview are:
Economic Solvency

Investors

Real Estate owners

Retirees and Pensioners

Residency by Family Unit

We find great satisfaction in enabling families to come together. You can obtain a residence in Mexico by Family Unit in the following cases:

If you are married to a Mexican citizen or to a person who has residency in Mexico.
If you have a Mexican born child.
If you are father or mother to a Mexican citizen or to a person with legal residency in Mexico.
If the person holding a Residency in Mexico has siblings under 18 years old.
The temporary resident student has the right to Family Unity, so that their relatives may request the Temporary Resident visa.

In all these cases it is essential that the family link is completely proved with the respective registration certificates. We offer official translation services for all your foreign documents.
