This is basically a scam. Avoid this place! Went there with a swollen inflatable limb, and was charged 800 pesos (past the cash register) for nothing. The “doctor” didn’t even inspect me properly. I had to go to the Cruz Rojo next day for actual help. Wish I knew about the Red Cross hospital from beginning.

I went to see the surgeon, but there was no one there except the receptionist and two entire floors empty. I needed to use the restroom while waiting for my appointment, and while looking for it, I noticed that the beds and the facilities for what is generally considered a hospital ward are tiny and empty. The hospital is filthy and frightening. If you get seriously ill, it's a horror to end up in a place like that—worse than an IMSS (Mexican Social Security Institute). That should tell you everything. Avoid this hospital, especially with the surgeon Jorge Gutiérrez Mena. He doesn't respect the ethics of surgical preparation. He'll operate on you almost tomorrow and offers a discount if you do it urgently. He sells massages as part of his services, at exorbitant prices. He doesn't even have an assistant or a changing room, and they don't even give you a gown for your appointment. It's a terrible place, and the doctor is awful.

Dr. Medina is the best. My 10 year old daughter had gone through a sliding glass door while we were on vacation. Her abdomen, arm and knee were cut open. He was so patient and kind with her.his suturing skills were also excellent. She needed three layers in her abdomen, two in arm, and one layer in her knee. I don't know how many stiches she had. He played her favorite music and put her at ease.i highly recommend them. He speaks excellent English as well. I am forever grateful for him coming in on a Saturday night to rescue her. Thank you!
