in the last weekWe tried sticking with local cuisine but finally craved a good burger. We had the burger with Oaxaca cheese and guacamole. My sister didn’t like how much lime it had but I loved it. Highly recommend this place or any local restaurant nearby. We went at night and we felt very safe. They had that street blocked off and stores all around. If you’re driving, it wasn’t too hard to find parking. We usually parked near the park when we needed to go somewhere there. The food was delicious. The bun was good too. We only had to wait about 10-15 min. The fries were definitely not store bought.

in the last weekI can't believe I'm saying this as there are amazing wing places near my house, but these may be the best wings I've ever had. I ordered the Buffalo style "Buffanero" flavor (Buffalo & Habanero)...wow, my new all-time favorite!!!! Not killer hot, but amazing flavor. My wife ordered the Dry Cajun wings and wasn't overly impressed, so it ultimately comes down to what you order.

in the last weekDelicious, thick, juicy patty. Perfect bun. Fries were thick and handcut. Almost like British Chips. So good. Service was also super friendly. Can't fault it.

3 weeks agoWe came here for a late lunch on our 4th day in Puerto Morelos based on the reviews and because our 10 year old was craving a hamburger. Happy to say that we all loved it! We have been to wonderful restaurants all week but we agree that as far as burgers go we highly recommend Burger Underground both for the quality of the food and the excellent customer service. The vibe was relaxed but for sure felt like an upscale restaurant with the quality ingredients, personalizedu recommendations, and friendly staff. I am not vegan but I had a homemade vegan Trish Burger with Garlic Parmesan fries… and it was hands down the best vegan burger I have ever had. Nice location too… just a short walk from the main square.

3 weeks agoI ordered the Big E Jr. cheeseburger and loved it — the special sauce and hand-cut fries were good. My son’s kids’ burger was a great portion for the price (plus drinks included, which is always a win!). My husband’s vegan black bean burger was delicious — it’s hard to find a vegan burger around here, so we’ll definitely be back for that. The agua fresca de limón was also yummy and super refreshing. The kids chicken fingers were a little overcooked and dry for our liking, but overall it was a fun night with good service and a great ambiance. We’re excited to come back!
