a week agoExcellent service, always available, and most importantly, the only ones offering home delivery at any time of day or night. A unique service in Tulum.

a week agoPrices above normal for basic services (30-50% more based on my experience with other vets in Q.Roo/Tulum and around Mexico). Seems like they’re adding a “tourist tax.” Also lacking in the high quality customer service I’ve been accustomed with Mexican vets. Wrote him that I’d be a few minutes late for the appointment just to be pressured that he had many other clients scheduled for the day and I’d need to be on time for everything to be done. I got there 5 minutes after the scheduled time just to wait in the lobby for 25 minutes while he worked with another client. I rushed to get there just to sit and wait anyway… I admit I should’ve requested all prices before arriving but I’ve gotten used to the standard prices at many other vets so neglected to do so this time. Once i calculated that it would be ~$100 USD more compared to another nearby vet I tried to explain that it was above my expectations. The vet had no interest in working with me or reducing to be more in line with similar vets so I decided to go elsewhere. The energy/vibe just felt off. The other vet I went to was super friendly and took care of my dog immediately without us even having an appointment. Ive been with my dog to maybe 10 vets in Mexico and this was the first time things just felt off. I cant speak to their capabilities as a vet, i imagine they do fine work but I’d avoid due to price, customer service, and the general attitude.

a month agoThis clinic needs ti remove the word 'urgencia' from their name. I texted one of the veterinarians at the clinic about my dog vomiting and pooping blood for the last 12 hrs. He told me the other veterinarian was at the clinic and could attend me. I arrived and after waiting 30 minutes, politely asked how long it would be as my dog had a bit of an emergency. The vet in the office, Sergio, listened to everything going on with my dog and then proceeded to lecture me about how the clinic is appointment only. Before even telling me my dog was okay, or not to worry, he just went on and on and on about how they are appointment only. Thus, they are not an urgency vet and should not advertise themselves as such.
