in the last weekFui con mi familia, querÃamos quedarnos en el beach club, la señorita Glenda muy amablemente nos dijo que podÃamos pasar a ver el lugar sin problema pero al llegar nos dimos cuenta que habÃa mucho sargazo y aparte muchas piedras lo cual impedÃa nadar y disfrutar, entonces decidimos no quedarnos a lo que el señor Vilmar que al parecer es el jefe del club comentó por radio que solo Ãbamos a quitar el tiempo y que éramos unos piojos o sea como quien dice que no tenÃamos para pagar, creo que es una falta de respeto para los clientes que este señor se exprese de esa manera si alguien no quiere ingresar al club de playa lo cual no estamos obligados si hay piedras y sargazo.

in the last weekThe facilities are excellent, the food is delicious, they always have great deals, and they offer a local discount. I'm not giving them 4 stars because of that, but the service isn't usually the best!

2 weeks agoWithout exaggeration, first, to enter the beach you have to pay 500 pesos per person, approximately $25 USD, and they open an account for you according to that budget, so to speak, so you can order food. If you don't want to pay that much, you can stay inside and NOT go to the beach. There are some good things: bathrooms, a pool, a jacuzzi, and showers, but they outweigh the drawbacks. The food is nothing special, and the price is in line with that budget; each dish costs at least 250 pesos, and drinks are 75 pesos. I went six years ago, and the beach was beautiful and full of fish, but now EVERYTHING is extremely rocky, the water isn't as clear as it used to be, and the beach is full of trash. The hotel area is relatively clean compared to the rest of the beach; elsewhere, there are half-meter-high mounds of sargassum. There's no access to the beach from anywhere else unless you're going to a wedding at the company that owns that section of the beach. In conclusion, it's VERY expensive if you just want to go to the beach and explore. The food is nothing special, and I don't recommend it. I'm sharing this so you don't travel so far to go to Paa Mul and end up disappointed.

3 weeks agoI'm going to be completely honest, without exaggerating, and give my perspective for both tourists and residents. The place is beautiful, the beach is nice, and the facilities are good, plus there are fish in the water. That said, the cons outweigh the pros. The law states that all beaches are public, but here they charge a minimum of 500 pesos to enter (you have to pay at least 500 at the restaurant), and the food is in line with that price, which is nothing special at 350 pesos per dish and 75 for a glass of water. Plus, the service is very slow. When it comes time to pay the bill, they look down on you if you don't leave a 30% tip. The beach is lovely, but it's very dirty. There's a lot of sargassum, and tourists left behind trash, including personal fluids, to put it mildly. When checking reviews of this place, be sure to check the date, as years ago it was a very beautiful place where you could have a great time. Instead, it's now a place to squeeze as much money as possible out of tourists by trying to entice them with pretty things and mistreating the locals. On top of that, they stole some seashells I'd found in the sea , I don't recommend it.
