Loved this church and the mass was beautiful. It was at 10 and was in English. Many of the songs my wife and I knew. My wife was happy that she could sing. The homily was great. The church is small and it was packed so there were many people standing outside. I love how the church is right in the midst of everything. Shops, restaurants, the beach, the main square. We went to church. Crossed the street to go for lunch. Went to beach for the day. Watched live performances in the square. Walked by the church again and Jesus out and being adored. We stopped and gave our love. It was awesome.

Those are the opening hours. It's a beautiful chapel, and the view is incredible. There are visitors who are both believers seeking a moment of peace and tourists who just come in to take pictures.

We've visited Playa del Carmen many times and usually attend Mass at the main church on 15th Ave. We decided to go to the Capilla when we were there in '22 just for a change, the 10:00 English service. Unfortunately, it was not a Mass. There were scripture readings, a homily and Communion was distributed. But it was NOT a Mass. Many reviewers have said they attended a Mass, but unless things have changed, they do not have an actual Mass. Last year, we attended an actual Mass at the main church. The chapel is beautiful as everyone says, but if you're interested in attending Mass, the 10am "service" doesn't qualify (again, unless things have changed).

It's a beautiful little chapel, and they almost always have the Blessed Sacrament on display. You can see the Caribbean Sea in the background. A real beauty.
