in the last weekExtremely disappointing and frustrating experience. The car we had reserved was not available upon arrival because previous customers had extended their rental. However, the staff made it clear they did not consider this their responsibility, which is completely unacceptable. We were given three unreasonable options: accept a much smaller car (without any refund), walk away with nothing, or agree to an upgrade and pay extra. We felt pressured into choosing the upgrade, even though this situation was entirely caused by the company’s poor planning. To make matters worse, we have still not received our money back. The entire experience lacked transparency, and customer service has been unhelpful and unresponsive. I strongly advise others to be very cautious when renting here and to carefully review all conditions before agreeing to anything. Based on our experience, I would not recommend this location.

in the last weekI have rented the cars so many times in Tulum but it was my first time with Sixt. Hugo provided the best service I ever had with car rental companies. Excellent communication and seamless pick up and drop off. Already made another booking and will definitely come back again. Thanks Hugo!

in the last weekWe were staying 15 miles north of Tulum and we needed a last minute rental to do some DIY sight seeing for a family of 5, and I am glad we picked Sixt. The SUV we got was brand new Ford Territory, super clean, and perfect for 5 adults. Over the five days we rented the car we visited the ruins on the edge of Tulum, then Coba, and Chichen Itza. We also drove to 5th Avenue in Playa del Carmen, South Tulum area, and two Xcaret parks. I figure we saved money over riding buses and paying for tours and taxis. We enjoyed having the convenience and flexibility of making our own schedule. The rental process was super easy, we took a taxi from our hotel to the rental agency which cost us about 600 pesos. After we dropped the car off, we flagged a taxi down in front of the car rental, only had to wait like 1 minute. I highly recommend Sixt downtown Tulum.

in the last weekTerrible experience here. Used major sales pressure tactics, kept changing the price of the rental and lied about how much local taxis cost (told us it would cost us 8x more than it actually did). Said that we would get robbed if we tried to use local taxis in the area. Would not recommend
