AVOID THIS HOSPITAL AT ALL COST. The nurses and the specialist they finally brought in to help me were great however, the front desk staff, Oscar specifically- were some of the most despicable people I have ever encountered. I was in the middle of a medical emergency and upon entering the premises Oscar asked for $200,000 USD even though I had let him know my insurance would be covering the bill. The final bill by the way was closer to $3000 and just as I said insurance covered it. They left the IV in my arm at the end in what felt like an attempt to not only get more money from me but also charge my insurance for another day as it was nearing midnight. My husband told them we would call the police if they did not remove it from my arm and let us go. That seemed to scare them and they removed it. About 40 minutes after leaving the hospital the women who took over for Oscar who was equally as awful asked me to tell my insurance company I was still at the hospital. Not once did Oscar or the women who took over from him ask me if I was ok or provide some sort of basic human decency based on my situation. Do yourself a favour and go anywhere else.

Sources are newsNation and new york post. Posts online and smaller outlets seem to point a this specific hospital It is crucial for for the management costamed tolum (someone there) to know that not every American is rich and exploiting a life- threatening emergency is unacceptable. According to various reports regarding the case of Jared Hill, this facility reportedly demanded an upfront payment of $5,000 just for a CT scan. Furthermore, it is documented that they demanded an additional $20,000 before proceeding with a critical spinal surgery. The surgery was allegedly delayed multiple times, seemingly to increase the pressure on his partner. Because they know the paralyzed Jared was worth a lot of money for his friend. The chef wanted necessarly this extortion to happen, he chatted with the doctors to made sure that life could only be saved for money. Despite receiving $25,000 in total, the medical care was shockingly inadequate. Once Jared was evacuated to Memorial Hermann Hospital in Houston, doctors found that numerous professional errors had been made during thesurgery, which had to be corrected. Paying such a massive amount of money did not guarantee quality care at all it only bought time. Please be warned: if you have a serious accident in the Tulum area, do not rely on this facility. Seek out alternative hospitals in Tulum or better go to Cancun
