9 months agoI definitely recommend taking the DJ Factory course. From day one, the classes begin to open your mind not only to music theory and genres, but also to the history and influences that have given rise to many DJs in the scene. You'll learn about places and moments that transcended the genre and others that emerged, culminating in Joss, the instructor, inviting you week after week to practice, mix, correct, keep the beat, and begin to "really listen" to the music from a different perspective, identifying each instrument in every song—a process that builds upon itself each week.
