I’ve seen many different Chiropractors in over 7 different countries and this is the first one to effectively get my hip back in place and really help me correct a bunch of postural problems. I am super grateful I found him as he has literally changed my life!

2 years agoI almost never take the time to write reviews, but I think it's important that anyone considering these services keeps the following in mind: I contacted this clinic because I was in Playa del Carmen and interested in having a session to relieve the muscle tension in my back. First of all, be aware that the location is a bit far, so if you're in downtown Playa del Carmen and don't have a way to get there, keep in mind that a taxi costs 100 pesos each way, so add that to the total cost of the service, which the doctor divides into two parts: a consultation for 100 pesos and the session for 800 pesos. So far, so good. The interesting thing was that once, after the consultation and already on the massage table shirtless, ready for the session, he told me, "I have two options: one that costs 800 pesos just to work on your back, and another for 1600 pesos to work on the other areas of your body!" I'd never experienced this before when going to a chiropractor. After the evaluation, once I was ready for therapy, they told me it would be 800 pesos just for my back and 1600 pesos if I wanted them to adjust the rest of my body, specifically my ankles and hips. This prompted me to write this review because I found it unethical and unprofessional that they would tell me the price and then try to charge me double once I was on the massage table. It's clear I will never return to this place due to the lack of communication, the poor location, and the basic, unhygienic facilities. In my experience, a full session in the Riviera Maya and the Yucatan Peninsula has never cost me more than 800 pesos. This is the first time they've tried to charge me double, and on top of that, I have to travel to the outskirts of the city and pay for a consultation. Keep this in mind when choosing their services. As a side note, the person seems knowledgeable and did provide relief; my only complaint is how they handled the situation. I've been to clinics with much better equipment and cleanliness, and they're willing to treat patients who require multiple sessions in packages, which reduces the price per session.

2 years agoAs a fisio from the USA of 15 years, I highly recommend treatment here. I had a random flare up of bad neck pain and hector got me in for a treatment quickly after reaching out to him. The treatment was thorough and professional. Hopefully I don’t have pain again while in Playacar but if I do, I will return here for sure.
