hace 2 mesesWalk-ins Are Not Welcome I gave this florist three chances, and after my most recent visit, I will not be returning. It’s become very clear that this business is not designed for walk-in customers. The space is extremely small and claustrophobic, and instead of being welcomed, you are made to feel scrutinized from the moment you step inside. There are signs everywhere telling you not to touch anything, and the overall message is unmistakable: you should not browse, explore, or take your time. You are made to feel like an inconvenience simply for being there. Rather than feeling invited to browse or create you feel watched and restricted. On my first visit, the experience was so unwelcoming that I left without buying anything. I later returned after encouragement from someone I respect, wanting to give it another chance. I even shared how uncomfortable my initial visit had been. While the owner was moderately pleasant, it’s now clear that this is not an exception — it’s how the business operates. My final visit was genuinely embarrassing. I brought a friend who was interested in creating an arrangement, but the environment was so tense and uncomfortable that my friend wanted to leave. I felt pressured to buy something just to justify our presence, So I encouraged my friend to stay. This should never happen in a retail setting. Even the act of choosing flowers felt unwelcome. I was purchasing Birds of Paradise and wanted to select the best stems — something any customer would reasonably expect to do. This was met with visible irritation, as though having a preference was a problem. That alone says a lot. As we were walking out, the assistant shouted remarks in our direction. The owner was present and did nothing to stop or address this behavior. The assistant behaved less like a professional employee and more like a defensive friend of the owner — and the lack of correction makes it clear this behavior is accepted. That speaks volumes about the culture of the business. The prices are extremely high, and when paired with the lack of warmth, creativity, customer service, or basic courtesy, it becomes impossible to recommend. If this florist primarily caters to phone orders and deliveries, that should be made explicit — because walk-in customers are clearly not welcome here. Supporting local businesses matters. But no one should leave a shop feeling scrutinized, embarrassed, or unwelcome for simply walking through the door. I cannot recommend this florist.

Hace 8 mesesI felt the need to write this review because all the flower arrangements my wonderful boyfriend has given me have been from this beautiful flower shop in La Veleta. Their flowers are gorgeous, and the owner, RocĂo, is a lovely florist who puts so much care, dedication, and love into her business. I 100% recommend her. Their flowers decorate our home every day. Thank you! đŸ§¡
